Finance

Our finance team manages a budget of over $150 million and almost 1,100 positions. Every year the finance team, along with the advice of the leadership team, draft and submit a budget request to Colorado Legislature explaining the funding needs of the OSPD.

The finance team then applies the granted funding to the work of defending indigent persons across the state by ensuring that employees are paid in a timely manner, benefits are funded, travel expenses are reimbursed, experts are paid, leases are managed, and office and IT equipment is up to date.  Our Finance team is led by Chief Financial Officer, Stephen Ettinger.
